Matt Ridner
Owner

With 36 years of automotive experience, I have dedicated my career to providing expert repairs, accurate diagnostics, and exceptional customer service. As an ASE Certified Master Technician and ASE L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist, I have the advanced knowledge needed to diagnose and repair today's complex vehicles. I am also a Maryland VEIP Certified Technician and have completed factory training with Honda, Toyota, and General Motors, giving me extensive experience across a wide range of vehicle manufacturers.

My passion for cars began at just 8 years old when I fell in love with my uncle's 1973 Pontiac Trans Am. That moment sparked a lifelong enthusiasm for the automotive world. By the age of 13, I had purchased my first car, and over the years I've owned numerous vehicles while spending many years involved in drag racing. Those experiences helped shape both my skills and my appreciation for performance, precision, and craftsmanship.

As a shop owner, I believe in treating every customer's vehicle as if it were my own. I take pride in honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and solving even the most challenging automotive problems to keep customers safe and confident on the road.

Outside of the shop, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our 2 dogs, riding my Harley, cooking, and working together on our classic cars. For me, the automotive industry isn't just a profession - it's been a lifelong passion that continues to fuel everything I do.

With 22 years of experience in the automotive industry, I have built my career on a passion for diagnostics, repair, and customer service. I hold a Pennsylvania State Inspection License and have completed countless CBT training courses covering all aspects of the automotive industry, while continuing to stay current with evolving technologies and certifications.

What I enjoy most about being an automotive technician is the challenge of solving complex problems. There's nothing more satisfying than taking a vehicle that runs or drives poorly, completing the necessary repairs, and seeing it perform like a completely different machine. Helping customers protect the investment they've made in their vehicles and keeping them safely on the road is what drives me every day.

My passion for the automotive world started early with Hot Wheels and RC cars, then grew into dirt bikes, four-wheelers, Japanese imports, and Mustangs. Growing up around respected professionals in the industry and spending countless hours at 75/80 Dragway and Mason-Dixon Dragway immersed me in automotive culture from a young age, shaping the career I have today.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing with my boys, riding my Harley, and attending racing and sporting events.

Auto Technician

With over half a century of automotive experience, I bring a lifetime of knowledge, craftsmanship, and dedication to every vehicle I work on. As a Certified Automotive Technician, I've built my career on delivering quality repairs and dependable service while staying committed to the highest standards of the trade.

My passion for automobiles extends far beyond the shop, earning me the name "Mr. Horsepower". Throughout the years, I've gained extensive experience building and racing cars, developing a deep appreciation for performance, precision, and attention to detail. That hands-on experience has shaped the way I approach every repair and diagnosis.

When I'm not working on customers' vehicles, you'll usually find me building cars, enjoying time in my, or making memories with my grandchildren. For me, working on cars has never been just a job—it's been a lifelong passion that continues to inspire me every day.
